PBY Catalina, Standard US Navy

This beautiful model is 1:35 scale and has been test built. The PBY Catalina was a long-range amphibious aircraft used by the United States and other countries during World War II. It was designed to take off and land on both water and land, making it useful for patrol, rescue, and transportation missions. With its distinctive high-mounted wings and large hull, the Catalina became one of the most famous seaplanes in history. Represented here in an early-war US Navy paint scheme, this model has folding wingtip pontoons, removable landing gear, and an impressive presence (I would know, I have one of the other ones on the coffee table myself). This model also comes with a purpose-built display stand. This is a display model there is ZERO swooshability, once it it built, it is highly recommended to leave it as it is and transport it gently.
